I’m a new grad and I’ve been applying to jobs for a few months now with no luck. I’ve been told my experience is the issue but I don’t know how to get around that since most entry level jobs require 1-2 years of experience.
Some things you can do to increase your chances of getting a job offer, even if you don’t have much experience:
First, make sure that your resume is tailored to each specific job that you apply for. This means highlighting the skills and experience that are most relevant to the position.
Second, reach out to your network of contacts and let them know that you’re looking for a job. Ask if they know of any openings or if they can put in a good word for you.
Third, research the company thoroughly before your interview and be prepared to answer questions about why you’re a good fit for the role.
Lastly, don’t be discouraged if you don’t get a job offer right away. Keep applying and networking, and eventually you’ll find the right opportunity.
