I’m looking for a new job and am wondering if LinkedIn is a good platform to use to find openings. I don’t have a lot of connections on there so I’m not sure if it’s worth my time.
There are a few ways you can use LinkedIn to land interviews.
- Use the search function to find companies you’re interested in and see if they have any job openings.
- See if you have any connections at the company who could put in a good word for you or introduce you to the hiring manager.
- Use LinkedIn’s InMail feature to reach out to potential employers directly.
- Join relevant LinkedIn groups and participate in discussions to get yourself noticed by potential employers.
- Make sure your LinkedIn profile is up-to-date and includes relevant keywords so that employers can find you when they’re searching for candidates.
