I’m in my early 30s and have been working in my field for about 5 years. I know that there are people who are earning way more money than I am and it can be frustrating. I’m just wondering how other people deal with this issue.
You can look at it positively and do a few things which might be helpful to you in the long run. First, you can try to learn from those who are earning more than you. You can ask them questions about their career and what they do to earn such a high salary. Second, you can work on increasing your own earnings. This may include asking for a raise at your current job, or looking for a new job that pays more. Finally, you can try to be content with what you have. This doesn’t mean that you should be happy with earning less than others, but it does mean that you shouldn’t let it bother you too much. If you focus on your own career and making more money, you’ll eventually get to where you want to be.
