Is a lack of good projects a hindrance during interviews?

I’m looking to break into the programming field and I’ve been told that not having any good projects to show during interviews is a big drawback. Is this true? And if so how can I overcome it?

It is true that not having any good projects to show during interviews can be a hindrance. However, there are ways to overcome this. One way is to focus on your strengths and highlight your skills and experience that are relevant to the position you are applying for. Another way is to be prepared to discuss your projects in detail and explain what you learned from them. Finally, you can also offer to show your projects to the interviewer after the interview.
